SportFence™ How did you do with the sand bags? Hope it wasn't too much for you.

We did okay. We didn't make them all yet - but we made enough. There was a storm the other night and the fence stayed up! Thanks again for all your help.

SportFence™ The fence is holding up very well. It has been moved and manhandled a number of times each year. We only use it a few times a year for special and championship games.

We had some sections damaged by vandalism last year. Some of the sections have the mesh coming out of the rail slots, but we repair those with tie wraps for the time being. Some of the “feet” have also broken off due to manhandling.

SportFence™ We are glad that the leg parts are replaceable on this fencing. We have owned this fencing since the year 2000. We were given some fencing from another company which had some problems with their breakaway system. Its breakaway was mainly a fold-away leg. This leg has problems in that it would usually break the first time it was tested. We found that the legs from the Sportfence system would work with the other fence. We are now in the process of replacing all the legs with Sportfence’s breakaway leg design.

This leg design also allows its user to put the fence up so the legs only have to protrude halfway out on both sides instead of all the way out. This allows us to use it as a barrier fence when needed.

SportFence™ I had intended (as we discussed ) to require Signature to take back their inferior fencing. Over 80% of there panel are either broken in the frame structure or in the ‘mesh’ panels.

Once I receive the Sportfence panels, I am going to be pursuing various means to return and hopefully be refunded for the inferior Signature panels.

SportFence™ is a great innovation. I can’t think of a single item of equipment since the development of the batting helmet that will have the impact that SportFence™ will have on player safety. Your SportFence™ product is the finest portable fence I have ever seen. It’s made of the highest quality plastic, it’s durable, sturdy and most importantly it’s safe! In the five years the fence has been in the program, we have never had a problem with balls going through it, under it, wind blowing it over or a player ever being hurt by colliding with it.

I have been a high school baseball coach for 44 years, and, over there many years I have been searching for the perfect portable fence. Last year I found it! Our school purchased SportFence™ , and it has proven to be ideal.

Although we purchased SportFence™ for the purpose of easy conversion from baseball boundaries to softball and back, I thought you might be interested in all the other uses we have found for your product. First, we use it around our football and soccer fields to keep parents and fans away from our bench areas. We also used it to form chutes for the finish line at our League Cross Country Championships. Last year we used it to enclose certain field events during track meets, in order to help us keep people from wandering needlessly through that venue while competition was taking place. SPORTFENCE II - the Olympics sports fences, barriers!

Thank you so much for your immediate response to my urgent request for Sportfencing for the 1996 Olympic Games. We had over 5000 feet of SportFence™ to put up at Lake Lanier Venue. We were working with a small two-lane road that we turned into a one way where approximately 150 buses and 16,000 spectators and sponsors would come to see rowing and canoe/kayaking.

The Sportfencing was put up easily and was sturdy and looked great. We could not have done it without you and we could not have moved all those people in an orderly fashion without the Sportfencing.

When I arrived in March and started putting all the pieces of the puzzle together I found one very important piece missing - FENCING. Nothing had been ordered for corporate villages, crowd control or ticket sales lines, along with many other locations on the golf course. I immediately got on the telephone and called your Santa Barbara office for help. Within in a couple of weeks the two of you worked out all the red tape and I received 4,000 ft. of brand new fencing shipped from your new factory in Alabama. I want to tell you how happy and pleased we are. We have used your fence since 1990 and I wouldn’t use any other fence. It is attractive, and so easy to put up and down (takes 10 minutes or less.) Other campus groups have also used it for crosscountry meets and graduation. But the main reason is SAFETY. When I see an outfielder running hard toward the fence I no longer hold my breath as I await to see if she hits it. Outfielders are no longer afraid and it has enhanced the level of play as they make catches right at the fence. In this day of liability concerns this also becomes a plus for our university.

We have used SportFence™ at the PONY tournament for five years on both fields. With well over 200 tournament games played by the nation’s top collegiate teams we have never had a problem. In fact a number of those teams have subsequently bought SportFence™ for their fields.

There seem to always be two concerns when using a “portable system”(1) Does it blow over? We have never had any panel blow over; in fact your new linking system works great. (2) Can a ball get through? We have never had a ball go through your fence in all the games played. this has not been true with chain link fences where fencing is loose at the bottom and where maintenance crews have caught the chainlink with their mowers and equipment. In fact maintenance is made easier because fence is moveable when needed.

I strongly recommend the SportFence™ for use at all levels.

Most of the photos and testimonials listed in this section are those of elated customers who purchased the previous model of SportFence™. The SportFence™ II model allowed baseballs to roll under the fence and it had a breakaway mechanism which did not breakaway each time it was activated. Since May, 2003, SportFence™ has been the sole manufacture of the SportFence™. Our upgraded breakaway mechanism is 100% efficient and breaks away every time it is needed; thus reducing the chance of injury to the player. Our fence is built lower to the ground to stop any baseball from rolling under or between.
